Regarding the issue of the NYPD sending 1,000 officers to Washington, D.C., for the World Bank-International Fund meeting on Sept. 29-30 and Oct 1-3, I want to remind you that the PBA continues to have serious unresolved concerns about this undertaking. Please pay no attention to inaccurate media reports that say the PBA has approved this deal. Any volunteers for these assignments would be doing so at their own risk since there are still so many unresolved questions of indemnification, etc., involved.

Attached is a communication sent to all delegates and members last month. All the questions and problems contained therein still apply.
