Re:  NON-EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE FOLLOWING THE WTC ATTACK

During the pendency of the crisis, our paramount concerns will continue to be the on-going rescue effort, comforting and providing necessary assistance to the families of our missing brothers and sisters, and the health and safety of our members.  I ask all delegates to request that member concerns of a non-emergency nature be dealt with at the command level or held in abeyance until the emergency has subsided and we have dealt with the more critical issues confronting us.

With respect to health and safety issues, or other matters of an emergency nature, please contact your borough representatives.  Of course, Trustees and our Attorneys continue to be available 24-hours a day to assist you with disciplinary and criminal matters.

I want to again take this opportunity to thank you for all that you have done and will continue to do during this time of crisis.

Fraternally,

Patrick J. Lynch
President
