Re: Retiree Retro Checks

As per the negotiated settlement, retirees can pick up their retro checks at 1 Police Plaza, 2nd floor, on Tuesday, 11/18/08, from 0900 hours to 1600 hours.

Starting Wednesday 11/19/08, the checks will be available in the Payroll Section, Room 1018 on the 10th floor, at which time the Dept. will begin the process of mailing the checks to the last address on file with the Dept., NOT the Pension Section. Due to the large number of checks being mailed, the process could take 2-4 weeks to complete.
