James D. McNaughton
Killed by a

He has been described as a quiet man with

in Lower Manhattan. He reported for duty in the Army on

— his fiancée, Lilliana Paredes, and his stepmother,
Michele, are cops, and his father, William, retired from
the Police Department in 2005. He is also survived by his
