P.O. Anthony Mosomillo

Police Officer Anthony Mosomillo, PBA Delegate for the 67 Precinct, died at Kings County Hospital on Tuesday, May 26, 1998, after being shot twice while serving a warrant.

While he and his partner were arresting a parole violator, the suspect's girlfriend attacked both officers, causing his partner to drop her weapon. The suspect picked it up and shot Officer Mosomillo four times. He returned fire, killing the suspect. The officer died of his injuries at a nearby hospital.

He is survived by his wife and two children.
