PBA HotlineMarch 13, 2003

Hello. This is Pat Lynch, President of the New York City Patrolmen’s Benevolent Association.

Once again, I ask you to join me and the PBA board in a strong demonstration of respect and strength at the funerals of hero detectives James Nemoin and Rodney Andrews.

The PBA is encouraging as many members as possible to attend these funerals so that we can show respect and appreciation for the lives of these two brothers in arms.

A strong turnout for these funerals will also send a loud and clear message to potential cop killers that an attack on one or two of us is an attack on all.

Funeral details are as follows:

Det. Nemorin will be waked at the Torregrossa Funeral Home, 2265 Flatbush Avenue in Brooklyn on Friday, March 14th, From 2 PM to 5 PM and from 7 PM to 9 PM.

A Funeral Mass will be offered on Saturday, March 15th, at 9:30 AM at Our Lady of Refuge Church located at 220 Foster Avenue, Brooklyn.

Det. Andrews will be waked at the Hess-Miller Funeral Home at 64-19 Metropolitan Avenue in Middle Village, Queens on Sunday and Monday, March 16th and 17th, from 2 PM to 5 PM and 7 PM to 9 PM.

A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, March 18th at the Elim International Fellowship Church located at 20 Madison Street in Brooklyn.

This funeral information is also available on the PBA website.

Please join me and your fellow officers at these services so that we can represent Detectives Nemorin and Andrews in the manner that they have earned and deserve.

This is Pat Lynch. Thank you for calling the PBA Hotline.
