PBA HotlineMay 22, 2003

Hello, this is PBA Recording Secretary Bob Zink. Thank you for calling the PBA Hotline.

The American Arbitration Association will mail election ballots to all PBA members on Friday, May 23rd.

During the last election, some of our members mistook the ballots for junk mail, threw them out, and lost their opportunity to vote in an important election.

We are asking all of our members to be on the lookout for your PBA election ballot in the mail starting Friday, May 23rd.

Pat Lynch believes that it is very important for all PBA members to exercise their right to vote. You need to have a say in who will be representing you over the next four years.

A strong showing of participation in the election will also send a message to our elected officials that the PBA is a force to be dealt with in New York City and Albany.

Please be on the lookout for your ballot. When you get it, cast your vote by checking the appropriate box and send it back forthwith. Don’t wait and forget. Vote for the candidate of your choice put the ballot in the pre-stamped return envelope and drop it in a mailbox.

Ballots will be counted by the American Arbitration Association on Sunday, June 7th. We will inform you of the results on this hotline and on the PBA website.

This is Bob Zink. Thanks for calling the PBA Hotline.
