Hello, this is Pat Lynch, President of the New York City Patrolmen’s Benevolent Association. Thank you for calling the PBA Hotline.

We are all saddened at the tragic loss of detectives Patrick Rafferty and Robert Parker of the 67 Squad. Our thoughts and prayers are with them and their families.

Funeral arrangements are as follows:

Detective Rafferty will be waked at Chapey and Sons Funeral Home, 200 East Main Street in East Islip, New York.

Viewing is from 1400 hours to 1630 hours and from 1900 hours to 2100 hours on Monday and Tuesday, September 13 and 14.

Detective Rafferty’s funeral will be held at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, 118 West Main Street in East Islip, NY on Wednesday, September 15 at 1045 hours.

Detective Parker’s Wake will be conducted on Thursday, September 16 from 1400 to 1600 hours and from 1900 to 2100 hours at the Grace Funeral Chapel, 607 North Conduit Boulevard between Lincoln and Sheridan Avenues In Brooklyn.

Funeral arrangements for Detective Parker are yet to be announced.

We ask you to make every attempt to attend the service of these true heroes.

It’s extremely important that we send a message to all perps out on the street that when you take one of our own we don’t forget and we will stand shoulder to shoulder in uniform to show respect.
