PBA HotlineNovember 30, 2005

Hello. This is New York City Patrolmen’s Benevolent Association president Pat Lynch.

Once again we have lost a brave member of our ranks in the line of duty. As we mourn the loss of Police Officer Dillon Stewart of the 70 Precinct, we must keep his family and friends in our prayers and support them in every way possible.

It is urgent that as many PBA members as possible appear at Brooklyn Criminal Court at 1330 hours on Thursday, December 1, 2005 for the possible indictment of the alleged killer of our brother Police Officer Dillon Stewart and the shooter of brother Police Officer Wiener Phillipe.

Report to Room 8-7 (8th Floor) of Brooklyn Criminal Court at 120 Schermerhorn Street between Jay Street and Boerum Place, Brooklyn, at 1330 hours sharp.

We must send a message to the perps that, if they attack one of us, they attack all of us.

Funeral arrangements for Police Officer Stewart have not yet been announced and will be provided as soon as they become available. Each and every one of us must don our uniform and be there in a show of support and solidarity.

Thanks for calling the PBA Hotline.
