PBA HotlineJanuary 31, 2006

Hello. This is Pat Lynch, president of the New York City Patrolmen’s Benevolent Association.

Funeral arrangements for Police Officer Kevin Lee of Manhattan North Grand Larceny Unit is as follows:

Ortiz Funeral Home, 4435 Broadway in the Manhattan North area on Tuesday, Jan. 31st and Wednesday, Bebruary 1st.

The viewing hours are 1400 to 1700 hours and 1900 to 2100 hours on both days. A funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, February 2nd at 1000 hours at St. Athanasius Church, located at 2154 61st Street in Brooklyn South area.

It is important that all members of the service attend Kevin’s funeral in uniform to show respect for him and for his family who are left behind.

I would also ask all members to offer a prayer for the recovery of Police Officer Eric Hernandez who is fighting to recover from a tragic incident that occurred last weekend. Blood donations in Officer Hernandez’s name are still needed at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx.

We also ask you to remember the police officers of the 46 who are also dealing with this terrible tragedy.

Please remember all of our fallen heroes and those trying to recover and their families who have become our family.

Thank you for calling the PBA Hotline.
