his killer in a judgment he obtained against the state Dept.
of Correction: "The cold-blooded murder of a police officer
deprives a family of a husband, father and frequently the family¹s
primary breadwinner. Seeking financial restitution from cop
killers is morally just and legally appropriate. The New York
City Patrolmen¹s Benevolent Association will seek legal
judgments from cop killers whenever possible to offer financial
relief to the families of murdered police officers." |

the fact of NYPD ticket quotas at a PBA grievance hearing: "The

again what police officers have long lived with: There are established

the city¹s performance in the negotiations as "disgraceful.

the lowest-paid police departments in the country." Lynch
pointed out that at the start of the PERB process New York City
police officers were ranked 145th in salary out of the 200 big-city
departments and now have slipped even further to 153rd. "That¹s
