At two separate media encounters, Pat Lynch supports the judge’s decision, explains the difficult choices police officers face and states that there would have been no indictment in the first place had the grand jury been given proper instructions. The judge left the door open to the Bronx DA to present the case to another grand jury.

PBA officers distribute toys, food and health items to families from the Auburn Family Shelter.

Dec. 21, 2011 The PBA donates hundreds of toys to the children of the Kipps Bay Boys and Girls club.  Retired PO Mike McDermott plays Santa and accepts the toys on behalf of the club.
Dec. 20, 2011 A contingent from the PBA fill the courtroom as PO Figoski’s killers plead not guilty to the killing.  Pat Lynch proclaims the disgust of police officers throughout the city and criticizes an inmate who claimed to be assaulted by Corrections Officers. Dec. 17, 2011 The PBA donates hundreds of toys to the Brownsville Recreational Center where members of the community hold a memorial service for slain officer Figoski.
Dec. 13, 2011 Reports are aired indicating that five are in custody for the murder of PO Peter Figoski.  Pat Lynch express outrage over a judge’s horrible decision to ROR a known dangerous felon without even setting bail and at the arraignment, notes that the perp was brought in cuffed with PO Figoski’s own handcuffs.
