How does the PBA decide which candidates to endorse?

The PBA’s political action committee — comprised of delegates from all around the city — considers the names of candidates who request an endorsement from the PBA for election. In many cases, the committee will invite the candidate to sit and answer questions in order to determine where the candidate stands on issues of importance to the PBA. The committee then recommends the endorsement.
