PBA President calls Mayor’s reaction to headlight incident a continuance of “White Shirt Immunity.”

PBA president Patrick J. Lynch said:

“The Mayor’s comments lead us to believe that he will continue the practice of granting ‘white shirt immunity’ for police bosses in the use of courtesies.  The PBA has members facing disciplinary and criminal charges for extending lesser courtesies to citizens.  It is time that all members of the force be treated equally for their actions regardless of their rank.”
