Bill Morange, former Chief of Patrol and Chief of Organized Crime Control, recently retired from the NYPD to become Deputy Executive Director and Director of Security for the MTA. He was a cop’s cop who never forgot his roots, as he demonstrates in the following letter to PBA President Pat Lynch.
