On Saturday, Dec. 7, stars of TV, movies, radio and sports joined the PBA executive board, NYPD brass and others to wine, dine and shower with gifts the survivors of New York City police officers killed in the line of duty. It was the annual PBA Widows’ and Children’s Christmas party, held, as it has been so festively in recent years, at Bridgewater’s catering hall at the South Street Seaport. Here is a photographic report of the good time that was had by all.

The photo below is sadly historic. It was taken at the 2002 Widows' and Children's Christmas party and it is believed to be the first time in history that virtually all the surviving widows of New York City police officers killed in the line of duty were photographed together at one time and in one place.
