Ms. March, 2005. Seeing herself on the March (Women’s History Month) page of the PBA’s 2005 wall calendar brought back memories for Annette Goldstein, who was appointed a New York City policewoman in 1951 and served for 21 years. So she sent us a more recent photo and these words: “I have to say boastfully, though, that I am more attractive in person. But the camera did the best that it could!” She remains “in pretty good health,” she added, and is “very active physically and socially. I am a ‘vegetarian,’ which keeps me on top.”
