In Domino’s Pizza competition, Transit cops win $5,000 slice of the pie for Widows’ and Children’s Fund.

On April 1, four Transit police officers competed against a team of four NYU students in a promotion to introduce Domino’s new cheeseburger pizza. The cops handed out more free samples than their opponents, winning $5,000 for the PBA Widows’ and Children’s Fund. Posing with a giant replica of the $5,000 check are (l-r) P.O.s Alice Mitchell of TD 12, Jose Zapata of TD 1 (now with the New Jersey State Police), Richard Aponte of TD 1, Transit Trustee Mike Morgillo and Mayra Liciaga, Transit Headquarters PBA delegate.
