Brian Fusco

After 11 years as a PBA delegate serving the police officers of the 72 Pct. by responding to a wide range of incidents from minor command disciplines to serious shootings, Police Officer Brian D. Fusco is now representing his Brooklyn South borough as PBA Trustee. He succeeds the recently-retired Mike Immitt in that position. Fusco was appointed to the NYPD in January 1988 and, after six months in NSU 3, he was transferred to the 72 Pct., where he has served and protected the city’s citizens and its police union ever since.

At the 72, where he is still assigned, he did patrol and then anti-crime for four years and ran the 72 Club for 14 years. He was first elected PBA delegate in 1995 and has served with distinction on the Law and Contract Committees.

Brian’s wife Irene is also a police officer, a 15-year veteran assigned to the 72. They have three children — a daughter, Chloe, 3; a son Jake, 2; and a son Dean, 4 months. They live in Suffolk County.
