REACTION TO MAYOR’S RADIO COMMENTS THAT HIGH ARBITRATION AWARD WILL BANKRUPT THE CITY
NYC PBA President Patrick J. Lynch said: “This is another attempt to frighten the arbitration panel who will decide the terms of police officers contract that expired two and a half years ago. The PBA is confident that the panel will see through this transparent attempt to influence its decision just as it saw him plead poverty before them on the same day he announced that the city could easily afford a second $250 million in real estate rebates.”
