Job Description

Protective Security Officers are assigned to federal facilities throughout Brooklyn, Long Island, Staten Island, and Queens NY. All applicants will undergo a training process in order to become applicable to the contract as well as a background investigation through the Department of Homeland Security to get clearance to work the federal sites such as the SSA, IRS, FDA, and FAA.

Vacancies are available in:

Queens, NY hourly rate:          $26.85 an hour plus $5.41 supplemental benefit

Brooklyn, NY hourly:                $28.57 an hour with $5.37 supplemental benefit

Long Island, NY:                      $26.85 an hour with $4.90 supplemental benefit

Supplemental benefits are provided by 32BJ. (401k, medical, dental, and vision).

Qualifications

• 47hr firearms certificate
• NYS issued Armed Guard license
• 2 years verifiable experience as an armed guard
• Retired Law Enforcement Officer
• High school diploma or equivalency required
• Must pass a background check conducted by the Department of Homeland Security
• Must pass medical and drug exam
• If born outside the USA please provide the certificate on naturalization
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays
