Biased CCRB chairman Mohammad Khalid blames the PBA for his resignation; Patrick Hendry blames his anti-police record and other issues

The PBA president is quoted in the Daily News: “Dr. Khalid’s biased voting record, his disregard for CCRB’s own rules and procedures, and his dangerous plan to strip away the police commissioner’s authority made it clear that police officers were never going to get fair treatment from CCRB under his watch. Dr. Khalid must be replaced by a fair-minded chair, and every case that went against a police officer should be thrown out.”

He and his fellow radicals on the CCRB board are driving good cops away from the NYPD and putting every New York City neighborhood at risk. He must be removed from the interim chair position.”

The PBA president is quoted in the NY Post: “These new recruits are a welcome relief for our overworked and burned-out members on the streets. But the real question is: Will they stick around? Every New York City police officer knows they can find a less punishing workload, a better quality of life, and competitive compensation in virtually any other police department in our area. The NYPD staffing crisis won’t end unless the city does more to keep the talented cops it already has.”
