More than 100 first responders and police supporters joined the NYC PBA, the Suffolk and Nassau PBAs and pipe and drum band members from all three departments for a ceremony in Smithtown to honor Donato Panico and the "Heroes 4 Our Heroes" project. Panico and his team donated more than 3,000 hero sandwiches to first responders across the NYC area to honor the 15th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.
