PBA President reacts to PC Kelly's city council testimony

PBA president Patrick J. Lynch said:

“Allowing crime to return to our streets because of short sighted budget balancing will strike at the core of what makes New York City the most desirable place to live, work and visit. Crime kills tourism and it kills our tax base by chasing businesses and families away. Not all city services are of equal importance and none is more important than keeping our city safe from crime and terrorism. It is time to stop cannibalizing the NYPD for the sake of the budget.”
