PBA President speaks to today's court decision to remove Judge Scheindlin and grant a stay

PBA president Patrick J. Lynch said: 

“We salute the judges who made this courageous decision to remove an obviously biased judge from this case and granted a stay.  New York City police officers want to do their jobs well and properly.  We are hopeful that the outcome from this appeal process will be to eliminate quotas for all police actions which will allow police officers to use their discretion and professional judgment to make appropriate stops free of mandated quotas and outside interference.”
