PBA President: Cop-killer Herman Bell should never be paroled

PBA president Patrick J. Lynch said:

“The evil that manifested itself in the planned, brutal assassinations of police officers Joseph Piagentini and Waverly Jones can never be rehabilitated.  That evil goes to the very core of a person’s existence and while years in prison may suppress or disguise it, that evil is still there and it should never be free to endanger our streets again.  Those who committed this savage and brutal crime against society gave up their right to freedom for the rest of their lives.  They should never be released from prison.”
